2/9/09 - So, Let Me Get This Straight...
Mr. Obama mentions, ad infinitum, that he inherited a current financial situation he did not want. If that is the case, why in the hell did he run?
Nonetheless, he has it and apparently he and his cronies have plans to stimulate the economy. Mathematically speaking, a $900 billion dollar stimulus package to create 3 million jobs would equate to $300,000.00 per job. Would not a real stimulus package extend a $20,000.00 tax credit to businesses for every job created in 2009? A package like that would only cost $60 billion fully realized and, I predict, it would generate immediate activity.

but spending is the point. he's said so many, many times.
If you were in charge, imagine what we could do with $12!
also, stimulus left to others just won't do. how can we trust that companies out there will actually create jobs just because we're offering 20K. we must act - it's the only way to insure that action is taken!!!!
if i were in charge with $12, i'd be walking around in some comfortable shoes - that's for sure.
