I so felt for Bush this morning. The transition of power after eight years must have been hard enough, but to have to endure the 18 minute speech on how fucked up the country is, couldn't have helped.
He certainly handled this all with incredible grace.
I only caught parts of the speech (though they had it playing in the auditorium with all the students) and my only thought as I continued to hear bits and pieces of the new President's speech was, "Hmmmm, sounds strangely like the PBHO using 'politics of fear'. But, that couldn't be - only evil Republicans do that.
